It’s been a joy to be writing the blog for my fav workplace of all time.
I’ve given you the tour, I’ve gushed, I’ve even sprinkled some haircare in-between to break up the posts about why I love it so much so it didn’t get weird.
And, today, I’m here to deliver some more about why Coco is the best, but I’m gonna let someone else do the talking this time—

What do our guests have to say about CocoLemon?!
Everyone that works here is so kind and welcoming. They are truly a family and share education and techniques with each other. Funny too- all have great senses of humor. Salon is very pretty and comfy, with plenty of easy parking right in front. So lucky to have this place in Richmond- the talent here is on par with an LA or NYC salon.

It’s such a grow and learn environment and it’s just so nice to see a group of artist working together, having fun and helping each other be the best at what they do. Everyone in the room wants you leaving feeling and looking your best, not just your stylist, and you can feel it. I’ve had the pleasure of sitting in a few stylists’ chairs at CocoLemon and they have all been fabulous!

From consult to checkout, with amazing service and thoughtful conversation in between, I always leave better than when I came in. I know I'm not the only one who feels this way, as evidenced by the growth of this talented collective over the years. If you're looking for a skilled stylist in a space that is professional, fun, inclusive, and dedicated to the guest experience, look no further.

When you walk in, you’re greeted with happy faces and kindness. The stylists are always teaching and it’s just a fun atmosphere to be in. I come from a medical background and it's very similar to a teaching medical facility, where they explain what they are doing, how/why they are doing it and are on the forefront of new formulas, techniques and products. I would say respect, friendship, growth and empowerment of other stylists is CocoLemon’s ethos and culture. If you are new to Richmond or just looking for a new place because your current stylist is just not vibing with you, I highly recommend this salon.

I would definitely recommend this salon, there were many amenities provided such as coffee and drinks while you get your hair done and the salon is adorable. All the employees were nice and friendly and my hair turned out great. I think this is the healthiest my hair has been in a while!

I moved from NYC to RVA and was so distraught to have to find another hair stylist until I found CocoLemon - these are my people. I like a good low-maintenance, lived in color and I will say I get compliments on my hair everywhere I go whether it’s straight out the salon or 3 months in. I have referred multiple people here including my family. There’s someone here for everyone. So thankful to have found this amazing, inclusive salon!
