Hey there! Your hairstylist bestie here with the first episode of our exclusive hair care series, where we dive into the secrets of exceptional haircare

using the exquisite CocoLemon touch. Today, let's embark on a journey to master the art of shampooing – the foundation of luscious locks.

Shampoo Routine

Do's and Dont's:

- Do: Dry brush your hair first

  • Why? This helps remove build-up on the scalp and daily shedding.

    - Don't: Wash without brushing

  • Why? Excessive shedding and the scalp may need several washings to clear.

- Do: Emulsify shampoo in hands first

  • How? Put a dime to a nickel-sized amount in your hands, add water, and scrub vigorously to create bubbles. Then apply to the soaking-wet scalp.

    - Don't: Apply shampoo directly to the scalp

  • Why? Direct application won't create the cleansing bubbles.

- Do: Shampoo your scalp

  • How? Focus on scrubbing with the pads of your fingers, not your fingernails. -

-Don't: Shampoo from roots to ends

  • Why? We shampoo our scalps to cleanse and our ends to hydrate.

-Do: Use quality professional-recommended shampoo

  • Why? Your hairstylists are experts in the products they use, prescribing the perfect cleansing aid for your personal needs. -

-Don't: Use products not recommended by professionals

  • Why? Over-the-counter products may contain harmful ingredients, leaving your hair dull, brittle, and stripping color.

Bonus Tips from Your

  1. Not Bubbling?

    • How to Fix: Add more water. If still not bubbling, rinse and shampoo again for the perfect cleanse, leaving you feeling fresh and clean.

  2. Scalp Not Fully Clean?

    • How to Fix: Split your hair in half and shampoo the sections separately—either top and bottom or left and right.
